The Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite is a budget version of its flagship S10 & S10+ version. Like the Galaxy Note10 Lite, , the Galaxy S10 Lite has given up on premium attributes like water-resistant, wireless charging, the dual aperture camera, the glass-metal body, and the stereo speakers. Unlike the Galaxy Note10 Lite, it has retained the snapdragon processor, a powerful battery & the Infinity-O display.
Samsung has used a glossy plastic instead of the glass-metal battery commonly known as glastic. Though its a considerable fingerprint magnet but the phone bacK is much for sturdy.
The snapdragon 855 processor still makes the phone pretty good from a performance standpoint even though it is a year old. Samsung could have gone for a Snapdragon 855+ at that same price range.
An in-display fingerprint sensor that is pretty quick than the one we saw in a Note 10 Lite. Though the phone becomes relatively warm while using high-end applications. The 4500mAH battery does a good job and can be stretched to more than 36 hrs. The fast-charging capability allows the phone to charge more than 95% in an hour.
The camera is also an attraction. Features like sene optimizer adjust parameters on its own based on available light & the kind of object.
The phone comes in three variants – 128GB + 6GB RAM, 128GB + 8GB RAM, 512GB + 8GB
Overall it’s a good alternative to a premium phone at that price range.
